Pepsi launched their new logo today by sending out cases of their new can to 25 of the most influential bloggers around. They overlooked Kerblotto and the thought leadership I selflessly provide to the blogosphere, the internet and the world in general.
I'll overlook this egregious oversight on the part of Pepsi marketing team and offer my candid opinion on the new logo.
Pepsi's new logo looks like the view from inside of a toilet bowl.
Pepsi paid one million dollars ($1,000,000) for this design. Coca-Cola, hasn't changed their logo since time immemorial and Coca-Cola has been rated the most valuable brand for 8 years in a row.
Not a fan of the new logo. I guess it is time for an update though.
ReplyDeleteIs this the new "Yes, we can" can?
ReplyDeleteIt's a little familiar looking.
Peace - Rene
Loved your opinion of the new logo. How true!!
ReplyDeleteIf it ain't broke...
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you didn't let Pepsi's slight of your significance get in the way of your criticism.

Sheesh. It looks like the logo for some crap seaside motel.

Hey,
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it falls to me to speak the truth once again. No matter WHAT the can looks like, Diet Coke just tastes better. Yeah, it's what we're all thinking.
It's not easy being me,

I can't say I like it. It won't make me buy pepsi, either.
ReplyDeleteWhy do companies change their logos? Why? Days Inn recently changed their logo as well and it's just nothing remarkable. Why spend all that money, all that time, all that effort and come up with nothing remarkable?
ReplyDeleteI don't really need the questions answered, it just seems senseless...
hmm...like the inside of a toilet bowl? really? I thought it looked like the Yes We Can logo but slightly tilted...so, "Yes We (Pepsi) Can"
ReplyDelete;-)
